The results are life changing when you dare to lead!
Dare to Lead™ is based on research from Brené Brown and focuses on developing brave leaders and courageous cultures. The most significant learning within the Dare to Lead™ program is that courage is a collection of the following four skill sets that are teachable, measurable and observable:
- Rumbling with Vulnerability
- BRAVING Trust
- Living into Your Values
- Learning to Rise
The Dare to Lead™ program focuses on developing these courage-building skills through workshops, training, and coaching to help individuals, teams, and organizations move from armored leadership to daring leadership.
The upcoming public program is delivered to small groups of up to 30 participants and includes a series of virtual workshops with break-out sessions. The program is led by two Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitators with seasoned experience in business and learning and development across industries and sectors.

This public program is delivered virtually. In-house (non-public) options are also available and can be delivered either virtually or in-person with your team or organization as a standalone facilitated training, as well as part of other leadership development programs, and are tailored to meet the specific needs of your organization.
During the Dare to Lead™ program you will gain insight and clarity about who you are as a leader and integrate more courage, strength, trust and skillfulness in the ways you lead yourself and others. The impact is transformational both professionally and personally when you dare to lead!
Who is a leader?

What will you get out of Dare to Lead™?

Take time out to invest in yourself as a leader
Taking time to connect to yourself as a leader and grounding in self-awareness is what separates extraordinary leaders from transactional leaders. The Harvard Business Review* suggests the capacity for self-reflection may be the foundation from which all other skills grow. With the support of skilled facilitators, rigorous data-based content and structure, you will have the chance to invest in yourself as a leader and re-connect with what matters most.

Explore your own bravery in action
You will learn and practice with the behaviors of daring leadership and to recognize (and intercept!) the armored behaviors that can get in the way. Gain a deeper understanding of your own brave leadership and how to resource yourself and embody these practices during times of uncertainty and stress to choose courage over comfort and develop the self-trust (superpower!) to risk falling short in the process.

Draw on courage when things get tough
Learn the four skillsets of courage and build practical skills in areas where most leaders and employees struggle like…having hard and accountable conversations, giving and receiving tough (and constructive) feedback, leading with empathy, connection and exploring what authenticity looks like for you. You will leave with new ways to develop brave leaders at every level and build courageous cultures with operationalized tools that can change how you lead and live.
Who You Are is How You Lead: Integrate your values
You will work to align what is most important to you as a person with the behaviors that align (and don’t align) to these values. Integrating your values is a resource when we are challenged and helps us to show up from a place of greater accountability, authenticity and trust. You will work to get even clearer about what you hold important and to take care to align your actions, words, thoughts and stories with your deeper intentions.

Build Trust with yourself, others and within teams
Learn the anatomy of trust and the behaviors that build, break and repair our trust with others, trust in teams and our own self-trust. We will dig deep to recognize the big emotions such as anxiety, fear and shame (and hard-wiring of our negativity bias) that can capsize trust and how to resource ourselves to transform our reactivity to courage in ourselves and in our environment.
Cultivate Resilience as a daily practice
Learn life-changing skills drawing from neuroscience, emotional intelligence and behavioral science to ground in the foundations of resilience including recognizing limiting beliefs and stories, staying in curiosity, practicing empathy, compassion for self and others, and transforming auto-pilot reactivity into active choices rooted in your awareness and intention.
